Human Kind (Rutger Bregman) This book is amazing in explaining how people are actually good. It tells about how wrong research and misunderstandings have formed a negative view on the human kind. Then it explains why people are great animals. From the beginning of evolution to everyday topics like modern wars, it is all described in this book.
The reason why I read this is because it gives you a totally different view of the world. If you assume most people are nice you are gonna act way different in the real world. That is why my favorite quote from the book is: "If we start to believe that most people are bad, we will treat them that way. Then we bring out the worst in each other". Read 20/11/2021 |
